Ebru Gulsel, is the person behind the brand of handmade jewellery Smilla Brav, designed and manufactured in Germany.

With a degree in Fashion Marketing and Graphic Design the designer started her work life  as a journalist at Dogan Burda.

Following by a professional career at ThyssenKrupp, Sharp Corporations and IQVIA she managed to convert her hobby

into a full-time job by founding her brand Smilla Brav in 2008.

Today Smilla Brav Bijoux meets the daily chic of the modern woman with yet so trendy but also handmade

and sustainable bijoux pieces. 

 In 2018 the brand's second focus became sustainable, timeless fine jewellery pieces. 

While the bijoux pieces are still crafted in the workspace in Heidelberg, the Smilla Brav Fine Jewellery Line is handmade by

master goldsmiths at the Grand Bazaar Istanbul, where time-honoured techniques meet genius. Awareness,

nature love and creating beauty lead to use recycled sterling silver as the main material.

Inspired by love, nature, tradition and culture the team of Smilla Brav find joy in creating and searching

for new adventures in the world of design and materials.
